چکیده

While storytelling and visualization have always been recognized as invaluable techniques for imparting knowledge across generations, their importance has become even more evident in the present information age abundance of complex data grows exponentially. These can simplify convoluted concepts communicate them a way to be intelligible diverse audiences, bringing together heterogeneous stakeholders fostering collaboration. In field energy climate research, there is an increasing demand make sophisticated models outcomes explainable comprehensible audience laypersons. Unfortunately, traditional tools methods may inefficient provide meaning input output values; therefore, this study, we employ tool, so-called Academic Presenter, digest various datasets visualize extended BioENergy OPTimization model (BENOPTex) different online offline formats. The developed tool facilitates communications among collaborators with broad spectrum backgrounds by transforming into visually appealing stories. Although study focuses on designing ideal user interface BENOPTex, features learned lessons replicated other system models.

Tool for Knowledge Acquisition and Knowledge Visualization

Concept maps are useful tools for representing general knowledge in order to organize and communicate information but they are difficult and tedious to build by hand. In this paper, we describe a system to help automate the knowledge acquisition process by using user-initiated automatic concept map generation. Our system can also display any part of the concept map already developed to help the...

Concept Maps: Integrating Knowledge and Information Visualization

Information visualization has been a research topic for many years, leading to a mature field where guidelines and practices are well established. Knowledge visualization, in contrast, is a relatively new area of research that has received more attention recently due to the interest from the business community in Knowledge Management. In this paper we present the CmapTools software as an exampl...

Knos: Knowledge Acquisition, Dissemination and Manipulation Objects 1

Most object-oriented systems lack two useful facilities: the ability of objects to migrate to new environments, and the ability of objects to acquire new operations dynamically. This paper proposes Knos, an object-oriented environment which supports these actions. Their operations , data structures, and communication mechanisms are discussed. Kno objects \learn" by exporting and importing new o...

Biomedical Publication Knowledge Acquisition, Processing and Dissemination with CORAAL

The paper presents CORAAL, a novel solution for life science publication search that exploits knowledge locked within unstructured publication texts (apart of possessing the traditional full text functionalities). In contrast to most related state of the art solutions, CORAAL integrally addresses acquisition (i.e., extraction), processing (i.e., integration and extension) and dissemination (i.e...
